Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes the rules that apply to all users of Someo (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Someo platform, you agree to follow this AUP and to ensure that anyone who accesses your workspace also follows it.

Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account, without notice and without refund, depending on the severity of the violation.

Someo may be used to:

• Automate replies to people who comment a specific keyword on your own social posts
• Send tracked links to people who have shown interest in your content by commenting
• Capture leads (name, platform ID, contact info where available) from engaged commenters
• Run marketing campaigns that direct people to legitimate business landing pages
• Connect accounts you personally own or manage with explicit permission of the account holder

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Someo, regardless of local law or platform policy:

• Sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to users who have not commented on your content
• Using fake engagement, bots, or purchased followers to artificially inflate comment counts
• Automatically following, liking, viewing, or engaging with third-party accounts
• Connecting social accounts you do not own or have not been authorised to manage
• Scraping or harvesting credentials, personal data, or contact information from social platforms
• Deploying Someo to phish users — creating campaigns that impersonate other people or brands
• Distributing malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious content via campaign links
• Harassing, threatening, or targeting specific individuals with automated messages
• Running campaigns that promote illegal products, services, or activities
• Using gating or blackmail tactics: requiring engagement in exchange for content that should be freely accessible
• Circumventing platform rate limits, messaging windows, or other enforced API restrictions

Each social platform Someo integrates with has its own terms of service and developer policies. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Someo does not violate those platform-specific rules in addition to this AUP. If a platform updates its policies in a way that restricts how Someo can be used, you agree to update your campaigns accordingly. Someo accepts no liability for account suspensions imposed by third-party platforms.

Content delivered via Someo campaigns — including reply messages, DMs, and link destinations — must comply with the following:

• No adult, explicit, or sexually suggestive content unless the platform explicitly permits it and you have appropriate age gates
• No content that promotes violence, self-harm, eating disorders, or other harmful behaviours
• No discriminatory content based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
• No disinformation, fake news, or misleading health claims
• No unauthorised use of copyrighted material, trademarks, or protected intellectual property

If you become aware of someone using Someo in violation of this AUP, please report it to support@someo.app. Include as much detail as possible. We investigate all credible reports and take action where appropriate.

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. In response to a confirmed violation, we may: issue a warning, suspend automation on specific campaigns, temporarily suspend your account, or permanently terminate your account. For violations that cause or risk harm to third parties, we may take immediate action without prior notice. Refunds are not issued for accounts terminated due to AUP violations.

We may update this AUP from time to time. The latest version is always available at this URL. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of Someo after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
