Refund Policy

Learn how refunds, cancellations, billing issues, and subscription changes work for Someo.

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Notice: This Refund Policy is provided for general informational purposes and should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before production use.

1. Introduction

Someo is a subscription-based social media automation and lead capture platform. This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing issues are handled when you use our Services.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

2. Subscription Billing

Someo offers paid subscription plans that are billed on a recurring basis — either monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan at checkout.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You will be charged on the same date each month or year from the date of your original purchase
  • Subscription fees are charged in advance and cover the upcoming billing period
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe — Someo does not store your card details
  • You will receive a payment receipt via email after each successful charge

3. Free Plans and Trials

Someo may offer a free plan, a limited-feature trial period, or promotional access at our discretion. The following conditions apply:

  • Free plans are not subject to billing and do not require payment details unless you choose to upgrade
  • Trial access, where offered, provides limited access to paid features for a specified period at no charge
  • Trials will not automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you have explicitly provided billing details and consented to the conversion
  • Promotional or discounted access is subject to the specific terms communicated at the time of the offer
  • Someo reserves the right to modify, limit, or discontinue free plans and trials at any time

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Someo subscription at any time without penalty. To cancel:

  • Navigate to Dashboard → Billing and follow the cancellation steps, or
  • Contact our support team at support@someo.app and request cancellation

After cancellation:

  • Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period — you will not receive a partial refund for unused days unless you are eligible under Section 5
  • Your account will not be charged again after cancellation takes effect
  • Your data and campaigns will be retained for a reasonable period after cancellation in case you choose to reactivate
  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time by selecting a new plan from your dashboard

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are not automatically granted but may be considered on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:

  • New subscription — 7-day window: A refund may be considered if requested within 7 days of the first payment for a new paid subscription, and you have not made significant use of the platform
  • Duplicate charge: If your payment method was charged more than once for the same billing period
  • Charged after cancellation: If you were billed after a confirmed cancellation date due to a verified system error on our side
  • Extended platform unavailability: If Someo was materially unavailable for an extended period due to an issue within our direct control and we are unable to resolve it

Refund approval is not guaranteed in any of the above situations. Each request is reviewed individually and Someo reserves the right to make the final determination.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not provided in the following situations:

  • Change of mind after using or accessing paid features of the Service
  • Forgetting to cancel your subscription before the renewal date
  • Lack of expected results, including leads captured, sales generated, followers gained, revenue earned, or campaign performance
  • Issues caused by third-party platform API changes, outages, policy updates, or rate limit enforcement outside Someo’s control
  • Social media account restrictions, bans, reduced reach, expired permissions, or disconnected accounts
  • Campaigns that did not perform as expected due to user configuration, keyword choices, or content
  • Unused subscription time remaining after a voluntary cancellation
  • Annual plan subscriptions (partial-period refunds are not offered unless required by applicable law or specifically approved by Someo)
  • Accounts that have violated Someo’s Terms and Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy, or Prohibited Activities
  • Requests submitted more than 30 days after the charge date, unless there are exceptional circumstances

7. Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us as soon as possible with the following information so we can investigate promptly:

  • The email address associated with your Someo account
  • Your workspace or business name
  • The payment or invoice ID (found in your Stripe receipt email)
  • The date and amount of the charge in question
  • A description of the issue and why you believe it is incorrect

Send this information to support@someo.app. We will review and respond within 5–10 business days. Confirmed billing errors will be corrected promptly.

8. Plan Downgrades and Upgrades

You can change your subscription plan at any time from your Billing settings.

  • Upgrades — take effect immediately. You will be charged the difference for the remaining period of your current billing cycle, prorated based on your payment provider configuration
  • Downgrades — typically take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You will retain access to your current plan’s features until then
  • Downgrading does not entitle you to a refund for the remainder of the current billing period
  • If your usage exceeds the limits of a downgraded plan, certain features or automations may be paused until the new cycle begins

9. Platform API Limitations

Someo depends on third-party social media platform APIs to deliver its core automation features. These include Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, TikTok, Telegram, and others.

Refunds are generally not provided for service disruptions, feature limitations, or automation failures caused by:

  • Changes to third-party API policies, rate limits, or available permissions
  • Platform outages, degraded performance, or maintenance windows outside Someo’s control
  • Revoked or expired OAuth permissions on connected social accounts
  • Social account restrictions, reduced reach, or policy enforcement by the platform
  • Delays in platform-level approval for API access or feature permissions
  • Deprecation of specific API endpoints that affect existing Someo features

Someo will communicate known platform disruptions via the dashboard and will work to restore functionality as quickly as possible, but cannot guarantee outcomes dependent on third-party decisions.

10. Account Suspension or Misuse

Accounts that are suspended or terminated for any of the following reasons are not eligible for a refund:

  • Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages
  • Engaging in fake engagement, bot activity, auto-following, or auto-liking
  • Running prohibited automations as defined in the Terms and Conditions
  • Fraud, chargebacks initiated in bad faith, or payment disputes raised without first contacting Someo support
  • Abuse, harassment, or illegal use of the platform
  • Providing false information during account registration or verification

If you believe your account was suspended in error, please contact us at support@someo.app and we will review your case.

11. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, contact our support team at support@someo.app with the subject line “Refund Request” and include the following details:

  • The email address associated with your Someo account
  • Your workspace or business name
  • The payment or invoice ID from your receipt (if available)
  • The date and amount of the charge
  • A clear description of the reason for your refund request

Incomplete requests may result in delays. Providing accurate and complete information helps us process your case as efficiently as possible.

You can also reach us via our contact page.

12. Processing Time

All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Here is what to expect after submitting a request:

  • Review period: Refund requests are typically reviewed within 5–10 business days of receipt
  • Decision notification: We will notify you of our decision via the email address on your account
  • Approved refunds: Are processed back to your original payment method. Depending on your card issuer or bank, approved refunds may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement after we issue them
  • Declined requests: If your request does not meet our eligibility criteria, we will explain the reason and, where possible, suggest alternatives

13. Changes to This Policy

Someo may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our billing practices, subscription offerings, or legal requirements. When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

We may also notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Services after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised Refund Policy. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you may cancel your subscription before the next billing date.
